Dwelling stripped


A THIEF broke into an empty residence and manufactured off with the boiler and the fireplaces.


Paul Keenan broke into the residence, on Fairholm Road, Benwell, Newcastle, in April right after the tenant moved out. When the landlord went to the property, he located the boiler, pipes and the fireplaces had all been ripped out.


Keenan was identified by blood at the scene. He told police he marketed the goods, really worth kilos one,200, to get funds for medicines.


Yesterday, Newcastle Magistrates heard the 39-yr-older, of Gerald Road, Benwell, examined unfavorable in his most current drugs examination.


He was sentenced to a twelve month group order with supervision and six-month's drug rehabilitation after pleading guilty.
